1. What is Fat Quarterly?

   What is the difference?
   
   The eMagazine is like a real life magazine only online! Every quarter we bring out a new issue which is packed with sewing patterns, articles etc. This is available for purchase from our site on the Buy Now page.
   
   To find out more detailed information about each issue and to view some sample pages go to the Issues main menu and choose which issue you would like to know more about from the drop down sub-menu.
   
   The Blog is where we keep you up to date with goings on at Fat Quarterly, host giveaways, have guest bloggers and have exciting interactive events such as Modern Madness.
   
   The Newsletter is so we can get in touch with you when we need to! Sometimes we want to give you a summary of what has been happening at FQ, sometimes we are looking for submissions to the magazine and sometimes we are looking for volunteers to help us with things such as testing our site.

2. Who are the faces behind Fat Quarterly?

   Fat Quarterly is produced by a group of 4 enthusiastic quilters. See more about them and what makes them tick on our About page.

3. How often is Fat Quarterly published?

   Fat Quarterly is published quarterly! Look out for issues in April, July, October and January.

4. Can I sample the magazine before buying?

   You can view sample pages from each edition on the Issue pages. Just scroll to the bottom to view in a flipbook format.

5. How much does Fat Quarterly cost?

   Fat Quarterly costs $8 per issue or $28 for a year's subscription.

6. How do I buy an issue of Fat Quarterly?

   Simply go to our Buy Now page and select which issue you would like to purchase. You will be taken to a paypal shopping cart and can choose to pay through paypal or with a credit card. You will then be redirected to our site and will be able to view your issue.

7. I have bought a subscription. When will I receive my first magazine?

   A subscription is comprised of 4 issues of Fat Quarterly. Your subscription will begin immediately and after payment you will be redirected back to our website and able to view the first issue of your subscription. An email will be sent to you as each of the issues which are part of your subscription are released. You will be able to access these issues by going to the Login page.

8. Are subscriptions automatically renewed?

   No. We will send you an email at the end of the year to ask if you would like to re-subscribe. There is no obligation.

9. How do I buy an issue or a subscription as a gift?

   You can buy a single issue or a subscription as a gift through our etsy shop http://www.fatquarterly.etsy.com/ When you go to the checkout on etsy, enter the email address of the person you would like to send your gift to in the "comments to seller" box. If you would like to include a message with your gift please enter that in the "comments to seller" box too. Please note that purchases through Etsy may take 24 hours to process.

10. Is buying Fat Quarterly from your website safe?

    Yes. You can buy FQ either through the paypal buttons on our website or you can go to our etsy shop http://www.fatquarterly.etsy.com/

11. There was a problem with my purchase. What do I do?

    Please contact us at customerservice@fatquarterly.com and describe what happened. We will do our best to resolve the problem as soon as possible. Please let us know what you bought and the email address you used for your purchase.

12. I am interested in being featured on www.fatquarterly.com or in the Fat Quarterly magazine. Who do I get in touch with?

    We are flattered by your interest in being part of our publication. Please contact us at submissions@fatquarterly.com .

13. I am interested in advertising on www.fatquarterly.com and in the magazine Fat Quarterly. What are your rates?

    We currently do not accept advertising in the Fat Quarterly Magazine. However we are accepting sponsors for http://www.fatquarterly.com/ If you are interested in knowing our rates please send an email to advertising@fatquarterly.com .

14. I would like to make a pattern from Fat Quarterly and sell it in my online shop. Is this OK?

    Please contact us if you are interested in wholesale manufacturing of the designs in the magazine .
