LouLouThi is the newest fabric line from a perennial favorite among fabric aficionados, Anna Maria Horner.  The Greek work for flower, LouLouThi is a gorgeous collection of 30 quilting cottons, 6 voiles, and 4 laminates featuring Anna Maria’s signature beautiful designs, her deep hues, and celebrating her love for cross-stitch and needlework. In fact, to correspond with the release of LouLouThi, Anna Maria is also launching Anna Maria Needleworks, a line of products designed to create beautiful things that complement the LouLouThi fabrics. The launch of Anna Maria Needleworks consists of boxed collections of pearl cotton in two color palettes (Geranium Wall & Reflecting Pool), as well as two 12-count envelope collections of 6-strand embroidery floss (in the Seafaring and Radiant color palettes).  Be sure to check out Anna Maria’s blog for her project ideas and inspiration photography showing off these new products.

LouLouThi is just hitting stores now, but thanks to the generosity of Kimberly and her amazing team at the Fat Quarter Shop, we have two fat quarter bundles of the line to give away to our lucky readers.  All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling us what pattern — quilt, garment, or otherwise — you think would perfectly show off this beautiful line.  Even better, pick a pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop and include the link in your comment — if you win, we might even be able to persuade Kimberly to include it with the bundle!

But hurry, because this will be a quick giveaway.  LouLouThi is sure to sell out, so we want to ensure that our winners get their spoils!  We’ll pick our winners on Sunday, June 12th.

Good luck!  We’re insanely jealous … … …

ETA: This giveaway is now closed.  Thanks to everyone for entering!

I love the Sea Glass colorway of these prints but the grapefruit is also super pretty! Wow… so many options…. I would def. have to say a funky summer quilt and pillows would be my choice from this fabric. If I had some yardage a few skirts out of the floral prints would be lovely too!

I think this fabric would look fantastic with the chopsticks quilt pattern by Jaybird Quilts – a solid would help highlight the fantastic colors/patterns of these fabrics.

I think these fabric would loome amazing made into the new Swoon pattern by Thimble Blossoms. :)

Rhonda Laws June 8, 2011

I have been eyeballing this fabric with the SisBoom Jamie dress. I don’t normally make anything but quilts but for some reason this pattern and this fabric seem to go together. My son is getting married soon and I really want to wear this combination but because I can’t “see” the fabric I am just sure.

Laura June 8, 2011

dolores June 8, 2011

We have these cottons in our shop and I drool every time I pass them….I am making a mental list of which cuts I am going to get…seveal of the prints remind me of old fashioned 40s-50s table linens.

laurel June 8, 2011

i would want something that would let larger pieces of fabric shine, to see the patterns better. but i wouldn’t want something OVERLY simplistic, so i think i’d go with either the diamond diva or the kaleidoscope.

BlondiKnits June 8, 2011

John, I know exactly the pattern to show off this great new collection: It’s called “The Great Frameup” by Mountainpeek Creations. The pattern uses 8″ squares framed by 2 1/2″ strips — which would showcase the larger prints beautifully! I searched for the pattern at Fat Quarter Shop but didn’t find this pattern. Here is a link to the Mountainpeek website so you can see how easy this pattern is to sew: http://www.mountainpeekcreations.com/patterns.aspx

Jen June 8, 2011

I think I’d made a bunch of fun bags with the fabric! Great giveaway!

Kristen Good June 8, 2011

I would love to use these FQ to start a stash to reproduce AMH’s diamond shape quilt top that she designed for her Bohemian line. I LOVE all those diamonds! It would show off the large prints in this collection well!

paulette doyle June 8, 2011

Man, I would LOVE to win this fabric…just love it!! And I also love the pattern Miss Muffet’s Tuffets! Very sweet! Thanks for the chance to win!

Wendy TC June 8, 2011

I can’t think of anything now…I just want to rearrange the fq’s into different piles and play for a while. I would love to use the fqs in a patchwork Stella Apron.

Dawn June 8, 2011

I’m loving stars lately, so I would make a Sparkling Cider quilt, maybe using white for the whole background so the stars pop!

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=3230661129103230&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=24396&Parent_Ids=

I’d like to see pairs of Xcentric and Concentric blocks made up in the Stockings stripe fabric. AH fabric is always inspiring to me.

Joy June 8, 2011

I love the Sea Glass colorway best, and I think I”d like to try the herringbone pattern and make some placemats from it. :)

Nancy B from Many LA June 8, 2011

I would make this in the Bamboo pattern!

Jolene June 8, 2011

Wow! FQS has a LOT of patterns to choose from. I think that Kaleidoscope by Chasing Cottons would look great with this fabric. Or Taffy by Jaybird Quilts…or Swoon by Thimbleblossoms.

Emily June 8, 2011

Oh lord, I’d take either colorway! I love this entire line so much! I’m not a quilter but I sew lots of apparel and accessories. I’d love to make a “summer wardrobe” for my cousin’s toddler daughter out of the entire line, using Oliver + S patterns. I’d make some dresses and tops, and use the Class Picnic pattern (http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=3462516133213462&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=55613&Parent_Ids=) to make lots of coordinating outfits. She’d never wear the same thing twice all summer!

Oooh- I’d love to make my Homefront Snuggler pattern with those bright lovely fabrics.

Jamie Marie June 8, 2011

I love the Sea Glass colorway! I would definitely make a quilt with this fabric. Love.

Martina June 8, 2011

Wilma June 8, 2011

Very cute fabrics. Fingers crossed that I can win that lovely bunch.

Kristie June 8, 2011

I love both colorways. There are so many things I’d like to make with them – clutches, wallets, bucket hats, summer scarves, …. If I got to choose a pattern it’d be the WVH Trifold Wallet PDF Sewing Pattern or an Oliver and S pattern. So hard to choose with all the fantastic options.

mn2nm June 8, 2011

I think this line would look great in a larger block that really shows off the loveliness. Texas Two Step or Dancing Patchwork look great. Or maybe Dollop – Carolina Patchwork has awesome patterns! Thanks for the giveaway!

Patti June 8, 2011

I’d seriously have to “pet” the fabric first, and then show it multiple quilt patterns. When it starts glowing, I know the pattern has been chosen!!!

Natasha June 8, 2011

I would try out Oh Fransson’s Mixtape pattern with these. Nice big blocks!

JennE June 8, 2011

I am pretty sure I would need to roll around in it first, hehe. After that maybe a strip quilt of some sort with some white sashing.

Lisa June 8, 2011

I love the grapefruit colorway and think this lovely clutch pattern by Amy Butler would be perfect for these summery hues!

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=77785172019407778&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=52959&Parent_Ids=

Kate June 8, 2011

I usually have to look at them for a week or so before any patterns come to mind…but my initial reaction to that Sea Glass bundle was maybe a Hop Skip and a Jump or Urban Amish. Pretty, pretty colors!

Mehtap June 8, 2011

LouLouThi is an absolutely brilliant fabric line. I believe they would really stand out even more used in the Russian Rubix quilt pattern.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=3715244750371&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58589&Parent_Ids=

emma June 8, 2011

What an amazing giveaway! I’ve been dreaming about this line for months.
There are so many great patterns out there I don’t know what to choose!

Valerie June 8, 2011

I can totally see those fabrics as the bottom of one of those reclaimed denim skirts for my daughter, she would LOVE that!

Chelsea June 8, 2011

I’m so excited about this collection. The colours are so different than what we’re seeing everywhere else. Murky and sharp, acidic, so much contrast. It reminds me of the tradition from natural to chemical dyes, when the colour spectrum and possibilities exploded.

This collection is so lush I think it needs an equally lush pattern. I’m thinking Kaleidescope by Chasing Cottons.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=76955261217337695&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58235&Parent_Ids=

Kelly Irene June 8, 2011

Mitzi June 8, 2011

I can’t wait to get my hands on this fabric! I love it already and have only seen it online. I know it will be even more gorgeous in person! I would have to find a pattern that leaves the fabric in big pieces. I wouldn’t want to cut it up too much.

Debbie J June 8, 2011

I would have to just lay it out and stare at it for a while. It is so beautiful!

Oh, what wonderful fabrics!

I think they’d be perfect for rectangular blocks or a diamond/argyle pattern.

Michelle Keenlyne June 8, 2011

I would pick “Skipping Squares” or “Painted Windows.” I think these fabrics would look wonderful with some solid sashing and a simpler pattern that lets the fabric colors steal the show. Thanks for sharing.

Angela N. June 8, 2011

Those fabrics have such interesting designs on them, i wouldnt want to cut them up too much. Espeically the big flower piece…

As a quilt – I think it would really shine as the Kaleidoscope pattern so many have recommended.

Pepe June 8, 2011
Phoebe June 8, 2011

Maybe the Sand Castles quilt by Chasing Cottons. The Buoyancy print reminds me of beach umbrellas or sea urchins. Get it? Beach + Sand Castles?? Sure hope I win after coming up with that witty connection. . .

Hanna June 8, 2011

Wouldn’t this be perfect to brighten up the dining room table with placemats and a table runner? I think so!

Netta June 8, 2011

Wow! I’d like to try it with HST’s. Lot’s of options for play with that.

Rebecca June 8, 2011

I’d want to make a quilt with not-too-small pieces, to preserve some of the beautiful big flowers in the fabrics. Maybe something like Buttercream Frosting: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=70668115050706&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57997&Parent_Ids=

Summer Killebrew June 8, 2011

Gorgeous fabric! I’d love to use it for the Kaleidoscope quilt from Cluck. Cluck. Sew. :) Thanks for a great giveaway!

Manali June 8, 2011

I think the Sea Glass would look great on the Charm Bracelet pattern!

Rose Leschinsky June 8, 2011

I would definately use it for a quilt. The colors and patterns are so amazing! It brings out the gypsy in me.

Esther June 8, 2011

It’s something of a tradition to make the teachers at school a bag at the end of the year.. I say teachers cos each class has at least one plus extra support teachers so I’m always busy.. if I won this years teachers would get amazingly pretty bags incorporating some of this fabric., I’m sure it would go down very well.. and hopefully one for me too !!

Amanda Elizabeth June 8, 2011

I’d love to make Rachel Griffith’s “Smitten”!!! It would be so bright & cheerful! Thanks fatquarterly & fatquartershop!!!

Erin M. June 8, 2011

This links to the Texas Two Step pattern: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=18625231212451862&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57173&Parent_Ids=

And I think it would look great there paired with the solid. Let the fabric patterns stand out a bit. I don’t know which solid though.

Thanks much for the giveaway.

Kathy June 8, 2011

I love these fabrics, they are so beautiful and there are so many ways to go with them. I’d use them in the Charm Bracelets pattern so I could really show them off.

Andria June 8, 2011

I would choose one of Camille Roskelly’s new patterns for the fabric.

Lesly June 8, 2011

A quilt for sure – I’m liking the Buttercream Frosting one. I think this would be a good choice for one of the Loulouthi bundles. http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=827768131308277&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57997&Parent_Ids=

chris June 8, 2011

i would make curtains and coordinating throw pillows…and maybe even coasters (!) for the living room.

Sherryl June 8, 2011

Love the Sea Glass Loulouthi! I think it would be so fun to make the Every Which Way quilt out of this fabric.

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=863531173232863&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58376&Parent_Ids=

tracy_a June 8, 2011

I think this would look perfect in the Chasing Cottons Curlicue Crush pattern – though I fear the curved seams, they would just highlight/complement this line so nicely! It certainly looks lovely in her last line!

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=77325181639127732&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58296&Parent_Ids=

Nicole C June 8, 2011

Looks like fun. Thanks for the giveaway!!

L June 8, 2011

I think these would look great on sling purses

Licet June 8, 2011

I would love to see this lovely collection in either the new Road Block Quilt pattern using a coordinating solid, or perhaps using the Firecracker or Fast forward pattern from Jaybird quilts. http://www.fatquartershop.com/Jaybird-Quilts-Quilt-Patterns-Julie-Herman.asp?Store_id=499&T=1

Gidget June 8, 2011

I think the Curlicue Crush would be the perfect quilt pattern for this fabric line! Definately on my ‘todo’ list.

Dinah Snyder June 8, 2011

I would use these lovely fabrics to make a quilt using the pattern Fast Forward by Jaybird Quilts (I already own the pattern but haven’t made it yet!) These wonderful fabrics would also be super in an old-fashioned Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt! Thanks for the chance to win!

I would definitely do off the rails for this one! So simple and great so show off gorgeous fabrics!

nova June 8, 2011

Dresden Plates. I think this collection would make a gorgeous Dresden quilt, with the plates randomly placed all over the quilt.

Irelle June 8, 2011

I have an original pattern that would show off this pattern beautifully – I’ll have to buy it if I don’t win it.

melissa June 8, 2011

i would love to do the single girl pattern with it! can’t wait to get some into my stash~

Krista - Poppyprint June 8, 2011

I still have a longing to make a dresden quilt a la Material Obsession and I think this fabric line would be stunning for it!

Zarina June 8, 2011

At the moment, i need a really swirly skirt. So I guess the florals would make a great skirt for me.

Lee Ann L. June 8, 2011

It looks like this fabric has beautiful prints and they should shine. I’m thinking that the Sweet Pea Quilt Pattern, http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=983268147149832&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=44462&Parent_Ids=, without the applique would be lovely.

Amy Young June 8, 2011

This pattern would show off these beautiful fabrics nicely. I would love to see how this would come out.!!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_Id=499&T=1&page_id=23&Item_ID=48383

Thanks for the giveaway!!
Amy

Jen M June 8, 2011

LOVE the material – so beautiful. In reading other comments I found the Chopstick quilt and now have a new quilt pattern to try out :)

Sandy K June 8, 2011

What lovely fabric…Anna Marie Horner did it again! I would definitely pick a pattern that had large pieces to showcase those big, bold prints….love it!

Missy Tiernan June 8, 2011

I think I’d go with the portraits of my garden. I think it would give each fabric the highlight it needs.

Vickie Angell June 8, 2011

First, thanks for your generosity in giving away some of this scrumptious material. I would love this in a large quilt, with large blocks featuring these large repeats. Nothing traditional, but something to let the fabrics shine. And the scraps?? I would use them anywhere I could! Thanks again!

Amy June 8, 2011

I love that fabric! I would certainly make a quilt but I don’t know about the design yet. It would have to work with the large scale print.

Alli June 8, 2011

I think the Jaybird Quilts Dance Floor pattern would show off these beautiful fabrics!

Mary June 8, 2011

Oh really hard to decide, I normally have to ‘sit’ on fabric before I decide to tdo with it, but I’ll make a decision and go for the Funky Windows Quilt http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=3843681424313843&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=33623&Parent_Ids=
thanks for the giveaway

Valerie June 8, 2011

These fabrics are so beautiful! I’ve been so inspired by Anna Maria’s work. I too would have a hard time cutting this fabric, but Jaybird’s Hugs and Kisses would be great in this. This is a great giveaway – thanks!

Jill June 8, 2011

I may try it in the Life is like a box of chocolates pattern. But I always do better when I make up my own. Love this fabric!

Lisa S June 8, 2011

I think I would make either Swoon (been crushing on that for a while) or Janie’s Scrap Basket (because I love pinwheels). Thanks for doing the giveaway!!

Leslie S. in MN June 8, 2011

These fabrics need something that will show off the bold designs. I think I might go for Texas Two Step by Atkinson Designs. But any pattern that allowed the fabric to show well would be great.

Shannon June 8, 2011

This fabric is delicious! I think it would look great with Julie Herman’s Carnival pattern, or Rachel Griffith’s Escapade pattern. Thank you for the chance to win!

bdaiss June 8, 2011

I’ll be honest, I’m craving a Shearwater Caftan right now and think a number of those would be perfect! But obviously that won’t work with a Fat Quarter bundle…so I’ll go with A Sunday Charmer.

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=9843681437569843&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=53571&Parent_Ids=

Thanks for the chance to win!

Jenelle June 8, 2011

I would love to make the beach ball quilt from Simply Sixties (Anka’s Treasures). I think that the way the blocks are designed, it would showcase the fabric perfectly, allowing you to see all the lovely details. Thanks for the chance to win!

Stacey Napier June 8, 2011

Love love love the fabrics – was thinking Escapade by Rachel Griffith as well – can’t wait to see these fabrics in action!

~Michelle~ June 8, 2011

Farmers Wife QAL!

Tammy June 8, 2011

I’ve been drooling for this fabric. I plan to make a king size quilt inspired by one I’ve seen at Anthropologie!

Courtney June 8, 2011

I would love to make a kaleidoscope quilt with Loulouthi: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=382168153313821&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58235&Parent_Ids=
I love Anna Maria Horner, but she’s really outdone herself this time!

Chancy June 8, 2011

Maybe Hugs and Kisses by Jaybird Quilts or the Amy Butler pattern in the latest issue of Better Homes and Garden Quilt mag.

yvonne June 8, 2011

Great fabric. I have loved the pattern Charm Bracelet and think it’s a good match for LouLouThi. Thank for a chance to win some.

Sara June 8, 2011

I’m looking forward to the new Amanda Murphy patterns, and think this fabric would look great with this pattern:

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=730568154477305&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57713&Parent_Ids=

merumo June 8, 2011

I love everything by AM! I tend to pick bright and wild looking fabrics towards to the summer as I feel like I need to shout out very loudly, and hers will do that for me very well!! And as for the pattern, I’d love to make “Taffy Quilt” by Jaybird Quilts with Loulouthi line, if I won ;)

Pauline Kennelly June 8, 2011

All the fabrics are fabulous! But I particularly love the brown with the blue and gold designs. I would have never thought of this threesome. I’d love to make this into a quilt of my own design!

Amanda June 8, 2011

Love this collection!! I’m wanting to make one of the tile quilts that Rachel @ stitched in color is whipping up:
http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2011/06/loulouthi-tiles-versions-design.html

Pauline Kennelly June 8, 2011

I love the brown with the blue and gold accents. Truly artistic. I’d design a quilt around this one!

Rosanne Derrett June 8, 2011

I’m in love with the Sea Glass colourway. It is just beautiful.

As for Patterns, I’d love to see it in Julie Herman’s Chopsticks http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_dept_items.asp?T=1&Store_id=499&page_id=17

or Bits ‘n Pieces Happy Daze http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=50995121010325099&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=51492&Parent_Ids= which would showcase the prints perfectly.

Lyanna L June 8, 2011

What a great giveaway — love the brown and blues. But I think I’d have to design a quilt to showcase the fabrics in my own way. Thanks again for the chance to win!

Lyanna

[lyannab(at)gmail(dot)com]

Stephanie June 8, 2011

Those flower repeats look HUGE, so I’d use them as the focus and design something to really show them off.

Tracey Griffiths June 8, 2011

I am brand new to quilting but I am already hooked! I would love, love, love the chance to make a quilt for my 3 year old daughter from these beautiful pieces. Being a novice, I think I would go for something simple such as squares or rectangles – these gorgeous fabrics would be an absolute joy to work with! Thank you for this opportunity!

Vio June 8, 2011

I’m a just a beginner, so I would love to do something simple with squares to showcase the beautiful patterns! I love the colors of both lines, but I think I’m in more of a Grapefruit kind of mood lately. :o )

Paige June 8, 2011

Beautiful fabric! I think it would be best shown off in a quilt but I don’t know (yet) which pattern. Probably something simple with large blocks so you can really see the prints.

Melissa June 8, 2011

My favorite pattern is still the “Wave.” I could have 20 of them and still love them all:) Thanks for offering the chance to win some of this great new fabric:)

Cheryl June 8, 2011
Diane June 8, 2011

I’ve been eyeing Surf Shop Quilt Pattern … Crazy Old Ladies & I think that either of these colorways would be great made up in this pattern! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=71096816027109&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=24827 (But I am not a crazy old lady!) :)

Patti June 8, 2011

I love that fabric. It’s just stunning. Look I know I say this all the time but this time I REALLY mean it. I love lots of patterns from The Fat Quarter Shopbut I think it would look great using Granda Mary’s Five Patch which can be found here: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=8326816049832&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57941&Parent_Ids=

Joanna June 8, 2011

I’m in love with the white print. Like I want it all for myself. In a wholecloth quilt :)

Sarah Marie June 8, 2011

Schmantsy childrens clothing OR a new bag for momma!! So many options with those beautiful colors.

Shannon F June 8, 2011

I’m torn between a dresden plate quilt and Cluck Cluck Sew’s Kaleidescope Quilt. This fabric is just too gorgeous!!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=7794681616517794&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=52692&Parent_Ids=

Kathy June 8, 2011

Great giveaway. I LOVE the seaglass and am oogling over it. I know I’ll win, I know I’ll win… Positive thinking doesn’t hurt.

Kathi Yerkey June 8, 2011

I am just beginning quilting. I love the fabric. Oh my goodness, I don’t know what quilt pattern would look good with this collection, but I am imagining hours of internet searching to find just the right pattern. I am already to search.

Deb June 8, 2011

I think the Zippy Strippy Bags would be adorable with this collection.

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=1123681628491123&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=43886&Parent_Ids=

What a great giveaway!

Kristin Jenny June 8, 2011

I would like to make amy butler’s honey bun pouf.
http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/products/patterns_display.php?id=48

Ruth Wesolowski June 8, 2011

I’m absolutely DYING to make pillow covers for the pillows on our couch. All the sewing I do, and I have NEVER made any for this couch!! It’s embarrassing, really. I adore everything AMH makes, but haven’t gotten any of Lou Lou Thi yet. What a great give-away!

Whitney June 8, 2011

What beautiful fabric! Since I’m new to this quilting world I’d have to do this one as a yellow brick road quilt!!

Jackie June 8, 2011

Would love to try this pattern:

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=9793681638269793&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids=

and i think it would look so good with the Loulouthi! Thanks for the chance :)

Sarah June 8, 2011
Chris June 8, 2011

I think this collection would look great with the pattern here:

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_Id=499&T=1&page_id=23&Item_ID=58716

Love this fabric line. Thanks for the chance to win some of it.

Michelle Kitto June 8, 2011

I love this line so much! I think it would would look gorgeous using Kate Conklin’s Fussy Fairytales. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

Deb June 8, 2011

I’d definitely use it for a quilt….I already have some of Camille’s patterns. Without seeing the fabric I’m not sure which one I’d use: Wild Thing, Piece of Cake, etc.

Laura June 8, 2011

I would love to make the Synchronized Squares quilt (by PS I Quilt) out of this beautiful fabric.

manybooks (Linda) June 8, 2011

I love this line – so diverse and great colors! FIRST, I would make a Bow Tucks bag for me, and then a little Windows to the World Sampler for starters :)

Stacy June 8, 2011

Gorgeous fabric! I think I would have to see where inspiration led me with these beauties!

Pam June 8, 2011

This is beautiful fabric. I would have to see it in person to be inspired with how to use it.

lynne s of oz June 8, 2011

Oh dear. You want me to choose only *one* pattern?
But I reckon that this fabric line would look great in any of:
Sweet Jane’s “Heaven’s Door” Item_ID=52049
Atkinson’s Designs “Urban Cabin” Item_ID=43887 or
Jaybird’s “Hugs and Kisses” Item_ID=54326

(and they all use or can use fat quarters. Jaybird’s Chopsticks is great but it really needs half yards, though I guess there’d be plenty of scraps for a different quilt!)

Natalie June 8, 2011

I would love to win this because I am currently on a spending freeze.

I don’t think you could go wrong with any pattern that features these larger scale prints like a modern take on the snow ball pattern or square-in-square with a large center square.

Diane June 8, 2011

I think the Curlicue Crush Pattern would be an excellent choice to show off this beautiful collection!

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=7409681736347409&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58296&Parent_Ids=

But then of course if I used it with Every Which Way Quilt Pattern
Gigi’s Thimble, I would be able to point out my favorite print. ;)

What a great giveaway! Thanks! :)

floribunda June 8, 2011

very pretty — I think a pattern like Sweet Escape would show off the big prints nicely!

Eryn June 8, 2011

I’ve yet to own a single scrap of AMH so would luv to get a whole FQ collection. These fabrics could be made into so many different amazing quilts – I’m thinking a wonky nine-patch mixed with a healthy dose of some solids…

Kristy June 8, 2011

I would frame the prints, they’re so pretty!

Tong June 8, 2011

this is such a gorgeous line, the colours and patterns are so bold. because of the scale, i think something really simple and uses big uncut pieces of the fabric would be perfect. i wouldn’t be able to chop them into small pieces!

Emma June 8, 2011

These fabrics are just so pretty, I am not sure I could cut them up staright away…after time to drool, touch and ponder, i would have to say probably a pattern from Jaybird quilts!

SuzyMcQ June 8, 2011

I’m fairly new at this so my choice would be Off the Rail for cute and ease of piecing! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

Shelley June 8, 2011

I think this line would look fabulous in a bunch of purse styles. And lots of pillows!

Lisa Marie June 8, 2011

I just got the book “Living Large 2″ which has lots of patterns to really show off large scale prints. I think several of those patterns would really be great for this gorgeous fabric!

Annmarie June 8, 2011

I love the colors in Sea Glass. And I think the Heaven’s Door pattern would do those big prints justice – thanks for the chance.

Emily June 8, 2011

I”m thinking it’d look great in the Chopsticks pattern. Although I think this fabric will end up in every project I make until I use it all up! :) I love AMH!! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=4833681837204833&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids=

Christine Couasnon June 8, 2011

Oh, goodness, a hundred ideas are swimming around in my head… but I think what would tempt me first is to make a Reversible Swing Bag (Amy Butler pattern) so that I could hold some of the precious fabrics near me daily!

kelly June 8, 2011

i love her new collection.

Colleen June 8, 2011

I love both these lines. Pattern? Need to let the fabric talk to me first, but they would be beautiful on a bed quilt.

Amanda June 8, 2011

I would probably make a quilt so that all of the patterns could live happily together!

Rosanna White June 8, 2011

I’d love to try a zigzag quilt with this :-)

Emily June 8, 2011

I want to make pillows for my new home and the sofa/bed I’m making with pallets. AMH is my favorite and I’ll be buying the whole line I’m sure but would love the chance to win it. Thanks for the give away!

Wendy June 8, 2011

I envision a gorgeous tote bag!

Laura June 8, 2011

String blocks or a drunkards path

Melinda June 8, 2011

Ooh! Love it. The colors are so vivid. I would probably try Rebecca’s Star Jewels pattern to bring out the patterns!

Donna June 8, 2011

This fabric is perfect for Jaybird Quilts’ “Firecracker.” Here is the link from the Fat Quarter Shop http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=6948681943586948&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=54325&Parent_Ids=

MarianneK June 8, 2011

I’d use the Turning Twenty pattern. It’s easy, quick, and will show all those luscious colors off to perfection!

Marilyn R June 8, 2011

I think this would need a pattern where you could really showcase the design on the fabric. I’m going to vote for an old favorite, The Yellow Brick Road. or Bits and Pieces.

Jane June 9, 2011
Janet K June 9, 2011

Yum! I would probably try an Ogee (Curlique) quilt – it’s on my list and these fabrics would look fantastic!

Rachel June 9, 2011

Beautiful! This fabric would look gorgeous made up into a Swoon quilt. Love that pattern, love this fabric! Winning combination :)

Stephanie June 9, 2011

Any FQ set I might be lucky enough to receive would end up in more than one project, as I like to mix and match new stuff with the rest of my stash. I’m much more likely to start with one block and let the project grow intuitively from there than to pick a pattern and follow it.

Sandra Davidson June 9, 2011

I would love this fabric but I would have to hold it in my hot little hands and see all the beautiful colors before I could decide what to do with it.

Angelina June 9, 2011

I love this line! I think using big blocks of the large prints and accenting them with embroidery/hand quilting like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/annamariahorner/5755862542/
would make a lovely quilt. I can also see some really great whole cloth quilts from some of these prints! LOVE!

Amber June 9, 2011

It’s hard to say what pattern would look good–I know there are some big prints in there… seems like the Jaybird Quilts Dot Party would work though!

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=3087526638333087&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56116&Parent_Ids=

JOhn June 9, 2011

Pillows. Big pillows.

jessblom June 9, 2011
niki June 9, 2011

oh sea glass~beautiful.
love these fabrics!.

Michelle June 9, 2011

I have been looking at Jaybird Quilts Unwind pattern and I think these would be great fabrics to use for that :-)

Thanks for the chance to win.

Newbie :) June 9, 2011

I love the warm summer colours in the Grapefruit LouLouThi’s. What a great wall hanging these zesty colours would make.

Dawn June 9, 2011

Since this fabric makes me “swoon”, I think Swoon from Thimble Blossoms is perfect choice.

patricia June 9, 2011

I think LouLouThi would be awesome with the Lotus Blossom Quilt from Cozy Quilt Designs.

Ann Marie June 9, 2011

I would make a quilt, something with big blocks to show off the prints.

Joan June 9, 2011

Thanks for the giveaway! A beautiful quilt with the pattern Off the Rail.

Heidi June 9, 2011

I would love to see Swoon with all the vibrant beautiful colors of AMH’s fabrics… love, love, love this line! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=623652698386236&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57040&Parent_Ids=

Shelly June 9, 2011

chopsticks would be great pattern to show off these beautiful prints

Kim June 9, 2011

Another stunning collection, such big bright prints and colours. You know what, maybe to show off the larger scale prints, something like the Rectangle Squared pattern from Ashley at Film in the Fridge.
Sincere thanks for the chance to win.

Patricia June 9, 2011

Now and Then from Material Obsession Two.

I love this pattern!

Thanks for hosting this great giveaway!

Munaiba June 9, 2011
Barb in MI June 9, 2011

You just want one pattern suggestion – how to chose: Taffy it is – great for big focus fabric, maybe use a different fabric for each of the big squares to show all the beauty of loulouthi!

Joanne June 9, 2011

There are lots of cute bag patterns in the shop that would be great for this fabric! Thanks for the chance to win!

Rita June 9, 2011

Bento Box for me…..Yipee!!!

Kirsten N June 9, 2011

wow, what beautiful fabric, it would probably take me a while to decide what pattern. I would have to just look at it and caress it for a while first. Love fabric!

Amy June 9, 2011

I’d probably make a patchwork skirt for my youngest with coordinating purse for the 7 year old and a little wallet for me.

Ava Landen June 9, 2011

Hmmm… hard to say which quilt pattern I’d use the grapefruit palette in. The large flower prints are just to gorgeous to cut up. I’ll probably go with this big block quilt pattern:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_Id=499&T=1&page_id=23&Item_ID=57040

or make-up my own pattern for a 50s inspired patchwork, circle skirt and aptly name it the “Picnic Skirt.”

Luciana June 9, 2011

Thanks again. xx

Oh I’ve been working on a pattern that this would be perfect for! I live on Martha’s Vineyard and you can find sea glass all over the beaches here. I been working on a pattern using a reverse applique map of the Island. How perfect would sea glass be for this?!

Karo June 9, 2011

I ordered my first batch of these (FQs) the minute I first found them stocked at Hawthorne. Been looking forward to these for such a long time now. Should arrive in the mail any day at which point I’ll stare at them, touch them, unfold, refold, un- and refold them some more. Then I’ll leave them sitting for a week or so of letting the fabrics “sink in” at which point I’ll decide on a quilt pattern. I’ll most likely create my own. Some of these prints will most definitely turn into a new Babycarrier as my little one seems to be outgrowing our old one. And I just loooooooove the process of getting to know new fabrics. Usually they’ll tell me exactly what they want to be.

Christine June 9, 2011

annabelle g June 9, 2011

I think a simple 12 or 15″ parchwork quilt would be pretty or do verying sizes e.hoops on the wall over a bed with them for art. Thanks for sharing :)

erica June 9, 2011

I think the Chopsticks Pattern would be really nice out of this fabric. The bigger triangles would give you a chance to really show off the fabric.

Andrea_R June 9, 2011

Big huge rectangles – and oh yeah i’d blog it.

Cristi Brimley June 9, 2011

I can’t decided what I would do with it! It might have to sit on my sewing machine for a few months so I could oo and ah over it!

rjstamand@gmail.com June 9, 2011

I adore this fabric! I can never decide what my quilt will look like so I usually just cut and start so I really can’t pick a pattern…yet.

Stacey June 9, 2011

A star sampler quilt with the blocks being different sizes. Or…but wait…<>. Thanks for a wonderful opportunity to win some great fabric. I absolutely love this line. Congratulations to whomever of us wins!

Stephanie C. June 10, 2011

I’d love to try it with Cluck Cluck Sew’s Basket Case pattern!

cindy r June 10, 2011

I’m just blown away by the loveliness of this fabric line! I think it would look great using the Happy Hour Pattern or the Farmhouse Windows pattern – but I think Happy Hour would really showcase the wonderful prints.

Thanks for the giveaway!

Marieke June 10, 2011

Both those colorways are gorgeous, as is the entire line.

I’m on the fence about whether I’d use Jaybird Quilts’ Chopsticks or Prairie Grass Patterns’ Russian Rubix, as both are patterns I really want to try. I think I’d ultimately have to go with Russian Rubix.

Susan Ikin June 10, 2011

I would love to see the Grapefruit in Chopsticks so that the fabric pattern is not lost in a blend.

Bronwyn June 10, 2011

These fabrics would look lovely in the pattern ‘Swoon’ by Thimble Blossoms :

with a really soft neutral for the background.

Thanks for the chance!!

LisaT June 10, 2011

I have generally been making quilts. Perhaps Ill pick up a pattern and make a nice bag. Id like to make some nice grocery bags actually. I noticed one during the recent big giveaway but I am not sure where I saw that pattern!

karen peachey June 10, 2011

I’d really have to think about a pattern, perhaps easy bake with a layer cake from cluck cluck sew? I’d just want to hold it & look at it for awhile first!:)

CrafterBerly June 10, 2011

Cute prints! I can see this in snowballs.

Lisa H. June 10, 2011

Lovely new fabrics!
I was checking out your FQ patterns & I think the new line of fabrics would work well with the Anka’s Treasures Sizzlin’ Sixties quilt (the one with 6-point stars and red border…maybe it’s the one that’s called O My Stars…?).

Wow, lotsa responses!

Cille June 10, 2011

Thanks for the chance to win – with these fabrics it would be hard not to make a wonderful quilt. They would really showcase the bold and beautiful prints from the seagrass collection.

Betsy Lynn June 10, 2011

I would make a Liberated Wedding Ring quilt.

Jeanie June 10, 2011

These fabrics are gorgeous! I would love to make a quilt out of them using the simple sashings and rectangles pattern the Quilt Dad made one of for his coverquilt. That pattern would really showcase these fabrics. Sometimes simple patterns are all that’s needed for beautiful fabric!

April June 11, 2011

Although my typical MO is a more highly-pieced quilt, I’ve been really drawn to this quilt:

http://www.noodle-head.com/2011/06/quilt-for-me.html

It’s just beautiful and really shows off the AMH line in a great way, I think. :)

Alathia June 11, 2011

Pick out a pattern first? Do people really do that? ;o) I’ve been working on my AMH stash, since I didn’t have enough FQ’s to make the “tender blooms” quilt from the April/May 2011 issue of Quilter’s Home. I think LouLouthi would play really nice with the other pieces I’ve collected.
