LouLouThi is the newest fabric line from a perennial favorite among fabric aficionados, Anna Maria Horner. The Greek work for flower, LouLouThi is a gorgeous collection of 30 quilting cottons, 6 voiles, and 4 laminates featuring Anna Maria’s signature beautiful designs, her deep hues, and celebrating her love for cross-stitch and needlework. In fact, to correspond with the release of LouLouThi, Anna Maria is also launching Anna Maria Needleworks, a line of products designed to create beautiful things that complement the LouLouThi fabrics. The launch of Anna Maria Needleworks consists of boxed collections of pearl cotton in two color palettes (Geranium Wall & Reflecting Pool), as well as two 12-count envelope collections of 6-strand embroidery floss (in the Seafaring and Radiant color palettes). Be sure to check out Anna Maria’s blog for her project ideas and inspiration photography showing off these new products.
LouLouThi is just hitting stores now, but thanks to the generosity of Kimberly and her amazing team at the Fat Quarter Shop, we have two fat quarter bundles of the line to give away to our lucky readers. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post telling us what pattern — quilt, garment, or otherwise — you think would perfectly show off this beautiful line. Even better, pick a pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop and include the link in your comment — if you win, we might even be able to persuade Kimberly to include it with the bundle!
But hurry, because this will be a quick giveaway. LouLouThi is sure to sell out, so we want to ensure that our winners get their spoils! We’ll pick our winners on Sunday, June 12th.
Good luck! We’re insanely jealous … … …
ETA: This giveaway is now closed. Thanks to everyone for entering!

I have been eyeballing this fabric with the SisBoom Jamie dress. I don’t normally make anything but quilts but for some reason this pattern and this fabric seem to go together. My son is getting married soon and I really want to wear this combination but because I can’t “see” the fabric I am just sure.
OooooohHH! I am in love. This would be great: sea glass in the chopsticks pattern.

I am in LOVE with this line…so beautiful. I just joined the Kaleidescope QAL on Don’t Call Me Betsy blog and this would be gorgeous for that quilt!
i would want something that would let larger pieces of fabric shine, to see the patterns better. but i wouldn’t want something OVERLY simplistic, so i think i’d go with either the diamond diva or the kaleidoscope.
probably the diamond diva. or heck, one pattern in each colorway!!!
What pretty fabrics, I think I would love to see this with my favorite, the Cabana pattern.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=6741530153456741&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58716&Parent_Ids=
I don’t know what pattern I’d make but it would defintiely be a quilt and one with bigger pieces that would spotlight these fabulous fabrics.
I have big plans for a kaleidoscope quilt using Loulouthi (I’m following hpthe quilt-along at Don’t Call Me Betsy).
John, I know exactly the pattern to show off this great new collection: It’s called “The Great Frameup” by Mountainpeek Creations. The pattern uses 8″ squares framed by 2 1/2″ strips — which would showcase the larger prints beautifully! I searched for the pattern at Fat Quarter Shop but didn’t find this pattern. Here is a link to the Mountainpeek website so you can see how easy this pattern is to sew: http://www.mountainpeekcreations.com/patterns.aspx
i love these fabrics! and i would love to make the simple Cobblestone Quilt pattern! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_Id=499&T=1&page_id=23&Item_ID=58375
I think Chopsticks would be a nice choice for this collection. Fabric is always my inspiration starting point and this collection would definitely inspire me.
Pattern? You mean I’m supposed to use a pattern? Wow…I learn something new every day.
Oh, a zig-zag, that’s what I would do.
I would like to see these fabrics in some type of large log cabin block. Can’t wait to see the line in person!
Pattern.. lots of them, but I would like to do things for my sewing area so that I could keep them for myself.. (selfish).. and look at them often!

I think I would have a hard time cutting into this! But I’ve been wanting to try a couple of the Jaybird Quilts (Carnival or Chopsticks would be super cute with this) so maybe that would motivate me to break out the scissors!
Love those big prints…and I think they would look wonderful with the Scalloped Charm quilt pattern by Black Cat…

I think the pattern Chopsticks would be a perfect way to show off the fabric ( http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=290668102272906&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids= ).
Phwoar. what a gorgeous line. I can’t wait to see these stunning fabrics in person. I would like to try the Chopsticks pattern by Jaybird Quilts and I think this fabric could be perfect for it. Thanks for this giveaway. N x
I think I’d made a bunch of fun bags with the fabric! Great giveaway!
I would love to use these FQ to start a stash to reproduce AMH’s diamond shape quilt top that she designed for her Bohemian line. I LOVE all those diamonds! It would show off the large prints in this collection well!
Man, I would LOVE to win this fabric…just love it!! And I also love the pattern Miss Muffet’s Tuffets! Very sweet! Thanks for the chance to win!
Paulette
I can’t think of anything now…I just want to rearrange the fq’s into different piles and play for a while. I would love to use the fqs in a patchwork Stella Apron.
I’m loving stars lately, so I would make a Sparkling Cider quilt, maybe using white for the whole background so the stars pop!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=3230661129103230&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=24396&Parent_Ids=
I’d like to see pairs of Xcentric and Concentric blocks made up in the Stockings stripe fabric. AH fabric is always inspiring to me.
I love the Sea Glass colorway best, and I think I”d like to try the herringbone pattern and make some placemats from it.
I would want to make Nooks & Crannies by Fig Tree: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=5388510127305388&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=50467&Parent_Ids=
I would make this in the Bamboo pattern!
Wow! FQS has a LOT of patterns to choose from. I think that Kaleidoscope by Chasing Cottons would look great with this fabric. Or Taffy by Jaybird Quilts…or Swoon by Thimbleblossoms.
Oh lord, I’d take either colorway! I love this entire line so much! I’m not a quilter but I sew lots of apparel and accessories. I’d love to make a “summer wardrobe” for my cousin’s toddler daughter out of the entire line, using Oliver + S patterns. I’d make some dresses and tops, and use the Class Picnic pattern (http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=3462516133213462&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=55613&Parent_Ids=) to make lots of coordinating outfits. She’d never wear the same thing twice all summer!
Oooh- I’d love to make my Homefront Snuggler pattern with those bright lovely fabrics.
I love the Sea Glass colorway! I would definitely make a quilt with this fabric. Love.
I would love to try the Mamas choice pattern from Barbara Brandeburg. Lovely!

Mary
http://www.quiltgenius.com
I’m a quilter, so a quilt. I think it’d look great in Julies Chopstick pattern. http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=36868102521368&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids=

oh my oh my, this line looks extremely beautiful!
Very cute fabrics. Fingers crossed that I can win that lovely bunch.
I love both colorways. There are so many things I’d like to make with them – clutches, wallets, bucket hats, summer scarves, …. If I got to choose a pattern it’d be the WVH Trifold Wallet PDF Sewing Pattern or an Oliver and S pattern. So hard to choose with all the fantastic options.
I think this line would look great in a larger block that really shows off the loveliness. Texas Two Step or Dancing Patchwork look great. Or maybe Dollop – Carolina Patchwork has awesome patterns! Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d seriously have to “pet” the fabric first, and then show it multiple quilt patterns. When it starts glowing, I know the pattern has been chosen!!!
I would try out Oh Fransson’s Mixtape pattern with these. Nice big blocks!
I am pretty sure I would need to roll around in it first, hehe. After that maybe a strip quilt of some sort with some white sashing.
I love the grapefruit colorway and think this lovely clutch pattern by Amy Butler would be perfect for these summery hues!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=77785172019407778&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=52959&Parent_Ids=
I usually have to look at them for a week or so before any patterns come to mind…but my initial reaction to that Sea Glass bundle was maybe a Hop Skip and a Jump or Urban Amish. Pretty, pretty colors!
LouLouThi is an absolutely brilliant fabric line. I believe they would really stand out even more used in the Russian Rubix quilt pattern.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=3715244750371&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58589&Parent_Ids=
Thanks for this great impulse and the chance to win!
Large Hexi Stars pattern. I would love to show off the gorgeous prints and
set the hexis off with coordinating solids to make the prints pop even more.
A plan begins to form….heh heh heh
Thanks for the opportunity!
I think it would be perfect for the Kaleidoscope quilt along that’s just about to start on the Don’t Call Me Betsy blog! http://dontcallmebetsy.blogspot.com/2011/05/come-join-kaleidoscope-quilt-along.html
I think this fabric would make such a wonderful patchwork quilt, probably just fairly large squares to let the beautiful patterns shine
Love this fabric ….I would use Hugs and Kisses by Jaybird Quilts
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=9605681039409605&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=54326&Parent_Ids=

Beautiful fabrics! Something that will show off the big scale of the fabrics would be nice, like Elizabeth Hartman’s Birthday Cake Quilt.
Gorgeous fabrics. I think Crazy Old Ladies’ “Boardwalk” Quilt Pattern would be fun for this fabric.
This is one of those fabric lines that I would be staring at for weeks, afraid to cut into such beauty! Kaleidoscope by Cluck, Cluck Sew is a pattern that I have wanted to give a try.
I would have to go with an anti-pattern and just say simple patchwork to let those beauties do the talking!! Thanks for the chance!
I love this new line and I think it would look perfect using http://ow.ly/5d40g.
I think Typography 101 by Carolina Patchworks would make an amazing quilt with these fabrics. How fun for a little one to learn their letters!
Ahhh, such beauty all in one place – what a wonderful chance!
I think Julie’s (Jaybird Quilts) Hugs and Kisses pattern would look so cool with these fabrics!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=150868105621508&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=54326&Parent_Ids=

Bloom Creek” would showcase these fabrics beautfully.

I LOVE this fabric, and honestly, I think it would look good in anything!
I think one of the Heather Mulder Peterson patterns for large prints would be great for showcasing these lovely prints. Love AMH and her latest fabric line
Something in the kalidescope pattern would be great!
What an amazing giveaway! I’ve been dreaming about this line for months.
There are so many great patterns out there I don’t know what to choose!
I can totally see those fabrics as the bottom of one of those reclaimed denim skirts for my daughter, she would LOVE that!
I’m so excited about this collection. The colours are so different than what we’re seeing everywhere else. Murky and sharp, acidic, so much contrast. It reminds me of the tradition from natural to chemical dyes, when the colour spectrum and possibilities exploded.
This collection is so lush I think it needs an equally lush pattern. I’m thinking Kaleidescope by Chasing Cottons.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=76955261217337695&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58235&Parent_Ids=
oooo this is so pretty. I think it would be perfectly suited for the Curlicue Crush by Rebecca at Chasing Cottons. I’ve wanted to try that one for a while and would totally commit to it if I had this FQ set to make it with!! Thanks for the chance to win
I think the colors would be great for this:

I can’t wait to get my hands on this fabric! I love it already and have only seen it online. I know it will be even more gorgeous in person! I would have to find a pattern that leaves the fabric in big pieces. I wouldn’t want to cut it up too much.
The Texas Two Step pattern would showcase these patterns perfectly!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=450068111954500&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57173&Parent_Ids=

I would have to just lay it out and stare at it for a while. It is so beautiful!
Oh, what wonderful fabrics!
I think they’d be perfect for rectangular blocks or a diamond/argyle pattern.
I would pick “Skipping Squares” or “Painted Windows.” I think these fabrics would look wonderful with some solid sashing and a simpler pattern that lets the fabric colors steal the show. Thanks for sharing.
Those fabrics have such interesting designs on them, i wouldnt want to cut them up too much. Espeically the big flower piece…
i think i would use it with this pattern: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=353868112833538&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=37268&Parent_Ids=

Maybe the Sand Castles quilt by Chasing Cottons. The Buoyancy print reminds me of beach umbrellas or sea urchins. Get it? Beach + Sand Castles?? Sure hope I win after coming up with that witty connection. . .
Wouldn’t this be perfect to brighten up the dining room table with placemats and a table runner? I think so!
I would use this pattern http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=9935681149509935&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=30876&Parent_Ids= well 1 of them.
Wow! I’d like to try it with HST’s. Lot’s of options for play with that.

I bought yardage of some of the prints for some seashore sundresses (Oliver & S) I love the prints and colors so much-I want to do a quilt which will show them off as larger pieces. The book Living Large 2 by Heather Peterson has some nice patterns for larger prints
I’d make myself the Shearwater kaftan with this!
LOVE TO DO “FIRECRAKER” FROM THESE FABRICS!
THANKS FOR SHARING!
I have just decided to do my kitchen/dining area in a Retro. I think there are some awesome place-mats and napkins here, cover some napkin rings, a table topper, chair cushions, trim the shelves inside glass cupboards and the list goes on. The Grapefruit LouLouthi is my favorite.
I think that a stacked coins quilt would be fabulous in LouLouThi. All of the fabrics would be equally highlighted and would shine with a coordinating solid fabric.
Beautiful fabric! I think Jaybird’s pattern, Taffy, would look fantastic with these prints. http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=338768120463387&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56867&Parent_Ids=

I really like the “Fancy” pattern by Aneela Hoey. I think that would be great to showcase all of the beautiful patterns in the fabric!
Beautiful fabric! I’d make a quilt with it, for sure! I’d like to make a quilt with the “Carpenter’s Wheel” blocks.
I love this fabric, I would love to make an apron out of this fabric. Maybe something like this:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/63897739/pretty-ditty-apron-pattern-reversible?ref=sr_list_2&ga_search_submit=&ga_search_query=apron+pattern&ga_search_type=all&ga_facet=
I love these! so pretty!! I love the Sea Glass LouLouThi (but then I am partial to greens.) But the Grapefruit LouLouThi is also just a beautiful!! Ohhh – I am glad I do not have to decide because I would just stand there and stare at both!!
I would have to pick Jaybird’s Dot Party Quilt Pattern because I would show off the beautiful fabrics as the dots…

I think the Sea Glass would look great on the Charm Bracelet pattern!
I would definately use it for a quilt. The colors and patterns are so amazing! It brings out the gypsy in me.
It’s something of a tradition to make the teachers at school a bag at the end of the year.. I say teachers cos each class has at least one plus extra support teachers so I’m always busy.. if I won this years teachers would get amazingly pretty bags incorporating some of this fabric., I’m sure it would go down very well.. and hopefully one for me too !!
I’d love to make Rachel Griffith’s “Smitten”!!! It would be so bright & cheerful! Thanks fatquarterly & fatquartershop!!!
I would love to make some doll clothes for my little girl! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=53676813075367&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=43896&Parent_Ids=

And I think it would look great there paired with the solid. Let the fabric patterns stand out a bit. I don’t know which solid though.
Thanks much for the giveaway.
Oh these are delightful fabrics! I founs two patterns that I think the fabrics would look great in! The first:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=2918681313492918&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57713&Parent_Ids=

I love these fabrics, they are so beautiful and there are so many ways to go with them. I’d use them in the Charm Bracelets pattern so I could really show them off.

lovely giveaway! i love this fabirc line- i would make a quilt- FOR ME!
I would choose one of Camille Roskelly’s new patterns for the fabric.
A quilt for sure – I’m liking the Buttercream Frosting one. I think this would be a good choice for one of the Loulouthi bundles. http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=827768131308277&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57997&Parent_Ids=
Julie Herman’s Chopstick pattern is my favorite for LOULOUTHI
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=35255301521153525&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids=
i would make curtains and coordinating throw pillows…and maybe even coasters (!) for the living room.
Love the Sea Glass Loulouthi! I think it would be so fun to make the Every Which Way quilt out of this fabric.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=863531173232863&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58376&Parent_Ids=
I think this would look perfect in the Chasing Cottons Curlicue Crush pattern – though I fear the curved seams, they would just highlight/complement this line so nicely! It certainly looks lovely in her last line!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=77325181639127732&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58296&Parent_Ids=
Love them both! I think I’d like to try this pattern ..
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=58895312221145889&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=52690&Parent_Ids=

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=2376822818237&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58395&Parent_Ids=
I would love to see this lovely collection in either the new Road Block Quilt pattern using a coordinating solid, or perhaps using the Firecracker or Fast forward pattern from Jaybird quilts. http://www.fatquartershop.com/Jaybird-Quilts-Quilt-Patterns-Julie-Herman.asp?Store_id=499&T=1
I think the Curlicue Crush would be the perfect quilt pattern for this fabric line! Definately on my ‘todo’ list.
I would use these lovely fabrics to make a quilt using the pattern Fast Forward by Jaybird Quilts (I already own the pattern but haven’t made it yet!) These wonderful fabrics would also be super in an old-fashioned Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt! Thanks for the chance to win!
Awesome giveaway!!!! I’d go with the Meadow Blocks pattern: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=1569621631371569&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=39077&Parent_Ids=
I would definitely do off the rails for this one! So simple and great so show off gorgeous fabrics!
Dresden Plates. I think this collection would make a gorgeous Dresden quilt, with the plates randomly placed all over the quilt.
I have an original pattern that would show off this pattern beautifully – I’ll have to buy it if I don’t win it.
i would love to do the single girl pattern with it! can’t wait to get some into my stash~
I still have a longing to make a dresden quilt a la Material Obsession and I think this fabric line would be stunning for it!
At the moment, i need a really swirly skirt. So I guess the florals would make a great skirt for me.
It looks like this fabric has beautiful prints and they should shine. I’m thinking that the Sweet Pea Quilt Pattern, http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=983268147149832&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=44462&Parent_Ids=, without the applique would be lovely.
This pattern would show off these beautiful fabrics nicely. I would love to see how this would come out.!!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_Id=499&T=1&page_id=23&Item_ID=48383
Thanks for the giveaway!!
Amy
LOVE the material – so beautiful. In reading other comments I found the Chopstick quilt and now have a new quilt pattern to try out
What lovely fabric…Anna Marie Horner did it again! I would definitely pick a pattern that had large pieces to showcase those big, bold prints….love it!
I think I’d go with the portraits of my garden. I think it would give each fabric the highlight it needs.
First, thanks for your generosity in giving away some of this scrumptious material. I would love this in a large quilt, with large blocks featuring these large repeats. Nothing traditional, but something to let the fabrics shine. And the scraps?? I would use them anywhere I could! Thanks again!
I love that fabric! I would certainly make a quilt but I don’t know about the design yet. It would have to work with the large scale print.
I think the Jaybird Quilts Dance Floor pattern would show off these beautiful fabrics!
I think the Zig Zag Baby would be a good pattern for this fabric. http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=2566814240256&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=54943&Parent_Ids=
Oh really hard to decide, I normally have to ‘sit’ on fabric before I decide to tdo with it, but I’ll make a decision and go for the Funky Windows Quilt http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=3843681424313843&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=33623&Parent_Ids=
thanks for the giveaway
I would make the Apple Jax quilt with this bundle.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=239068135192390&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=44985&Parent_Ids=
These fabrics are so beautiful! I’ve been so inspired by Anna Maria’s work. I too would have a hard time cutting this fabric, but Jaybird’s Hugs and Kisses would be great in this. This is a great giveaway – thanks!
I may try it in the Life is like a box of chocolates pattern. But I always do better when I make up my own. Love this fabric!
Love this line! And I love this pattern!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=39886682133988&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57040&Parent_Ids=
I think I would make either Swoon (been crushing on that for a while) or Janie’s Scrap Basket (because I love pinwheels). Thanks for doing the giveaway!!
These fabrics need something that will show off the bold designs. I think I might go for Texas Two Step by Atkinson Designs. But any pattern that allowed the fabric to show well would be great.
This fabric is delicious! I think it would look great with Julie Herman’s Carnival pattern, or Rachel Griffith’s Escapade pattern. Thank you for the chance to win!
I’ll be honest, I’m craving a Shearwater Caftan right now and think a number of those would be perfect! But obviously that won’t work with a Fat Quarter bundle…so I’ll go with A Sunday Charmer.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=9843681437569843&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=53571&Parent_Ids=
Thanks for the chance to win!
I would love to make the beach ball quilt from Simply Sixties (Anka’s Treasures). I think that the way the blocks are designed, it would showcase the fabric perfectly, allowing you to see all the lovely details. Thanks for the chance to win!
Love love love the fabrics – was thinking Escapade by Rachel Griffith as well – can’t wait to see these fabrics in action!
Farmers Wife QAL!
I’ve been drooling for this fabric. I plan to make a king size quilt inspired by one I’ve seen at Anthropologie!
I would love to make a kaleidoscope quilt with Loulouthi: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=382168153313821&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58235&Parent_Ids=
I love Anna Maria Horner, but she’s really outdone herself this time!
Maybe Hugs and Kisses by Jaybird Quilts or the Amy Butler pattern in the latest issue of Better Homes and Garden Quilt mag.
Great fabric. I have loved the pattern Charm Bracelet and think it’s a good match for LouLouThi. Thank for a chance to win some.
I’m looking forward to the new Amanda Murphy patterns, and think this fabric would look great with this pattern:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=730568154477305&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57713&Parent_Ids=
I love everything by AM! I tend to pick bright and wild looking fabrics towards to the summer as I feel like I need to shout out very loudly, and hers will do that for me very well!! And as for the pattern, I’d love to make “Taffy Quilt” by Jaybird Quilts with Loulouthi line, if I won
All the fabrics are fabulous! But I particularly love the brown with the blue and gold designs. I would have never thought of this threesome. I’d love to make this into a quilt of my own design!
Love this collection!! I’m wanting to make one of the tile quilts that Rachel @ stitched in color is whipping up:
http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2011/06/loulouthi-tiles-versions-design.html
I love the brown with the blue and gold accents. Truly artistic. I’d design a quilt around this one!
I’m in love with the Sea Glass colourway. It is just beautiful.
As for Patterns, I’d love to see it in Julie Herman’s Chopsticks http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_dept_items.asp?T=1&Store_id=499&page_id=17
or Bits ‘n Pieces Happy Daze http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=50995121010325099&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=51492&Parent_Ids= which would showcase the prints perfectly.
What a great giveaway — love the brown and blues. But I think I’d have to design a quilt to showcase the fabrics in my own way. Thanks again for the chance to win!
Lyanna

Those flower repeats look HUGE, so I’d use them as the focus and design something to really show them off.
I am brand new to quilting but I am already hooked! I would love, love, love the chance to make a quilt for my 3 year old daughter from these beautiful pieces. Being a novice, I think I would go for something simple such as squares or rectangles – these gorgeous fabrics would be an absolute joy to work with! Thank you for this opportunity!
I’m a just a beginner, so I would love to do something simple with squares to showcase the beautiful patterns! I love the colors of both lines, but I think I’m in more of a Grapefruit kind of mood lately.
)
I think funky squares would be great with this fabric!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=5643681536135643&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=33623&Parent_Ids=
Beautiful fabric! I think it would be best shown off in a quilt but I don’t know (yet) which pattern. Probably something simple with large blocks so you can really see the prints.
My favorite pattern is still the “Wave.” I could have 20 of them and still love them all:) Thanks for offering the chance to win some of this great new fabric:)
Beautiful fabric – and I’d love to see it in Carnival by Jaybird Quilts:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=76868155717768&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=54323&Parent_Ids=
I’ve been eyeing Surf Shop Quilt Pattern … Crazy Old Ladies & I think that either of these colorways would be great made up in this pattern! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=71096816027109&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=24827 (But I am not a crazy old lady!)
I love that fabric. It’s just stunning. Look I know I say this all the time but this time I REALLY mean it. I love lots of patterns from The Fat Quarter Shopbut I think it would look great using Granda Mary’s Five Patch which can be found here: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=8326816049832&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57941&Parent_Ids=
I’m in love with the white print. Like I want it all for myself. In a wholecloth quilt
Schmantsy childrens clothing OR a new bag for momma!! So many options with those beautiful colors.
I’m torn between a dresden plate quilt and Cluck Cluck Sew’s Kaleidescope Quilt. This fabric is just too gorgeous!!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=7794681616517794&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=52692&Parent_Ids=
Great giveaway. I LOVE the seaglass and am oogling over it. I know I’ll win, I know I’ll win… Positive thinking doesn’t hurt.
I am just beginning quilting. I love the fabric. Oh my goodness, I don’t know what quilt pattern would look good with this collection, but I am imagining hours of internet searching to find just the right pattern. I am already to search.
I think the Chopsticks quilt would look awesome with this collection! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=2592681625142592&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids=
I think the Zippy Strippy Bags would be adorable with this collection.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=1123681628491123&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=43886&Parent_Ids=
What a great giveaway!
I would like to make amy butler’s honey bun pouf.
http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/products/patterns_display.php?id=48
I’m absolutely DYING to make pillow covers for the pillows on our couch. All the sewing I do, and I have NEVER made any for this couch!! It’s embarrassing, really. I adore everything AMH makes, but haven’t gotten any of Lou Lou Thi yet. What a great give-away!
What beautiful fabric! Since I’m new to this quilting world I’d have to do this one as a yellow brick road quilt!!
Would love to try this pattern:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=9793681638269793&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids=
and i think it would look so good with the Loulouthi! Thanks for the chance
I’d love to stitch up these wallets for my family and friends with the Sea Glass collection: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=7183681645307183&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=54672&Parent_Ids=
I think this collection would look great with the pattern here:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_Id=499&T=1&page_id=23&Item_ID=58716
Love this fabric line. Thanks for the chance to win some of it.
I love this line so much! I think it would would look gorgeous using Kate Conklin’s Fussy Fairytales. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I’d definitely use it for a quilt….I already have some of Camille’s patterns. Without seeing the fabric I’m not sure which one I’d use: Wild Thing, Piece of Cake, etc.
I would love to make the Synchronized Squares quilt (by PS I Quilt) out of this beautiful fabric.
I love this line – so diverse and great colors! FIRST, I would make a Bow Tucks bag for me, and then a little Windows to the World Sampler for starters
I love the colors and the shapes in the Urban Cabin Quilt Pattern. http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=315968178323159&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=43887&Parent_Ids=
Gorgeous fabric! I think I would have to see where inspiration led me with these beauties!
This is beautiful fabric. I would have to see it in person to be inspired with how to use it.
I think chain reaction would be fun.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=1192681730161192&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=52695&Parent_Ids=
Oh dear. You want me to choose only *one* pattern?
But I reckon that this fabric line would look great in any of:
Sweet Jane’s “Heaven’s Door” Item_ID=52049
Atkinson’s Designs “Urban Cabin” Item_ID=43887 or
Jaybird’s “Hugs and Kisses” Item_ID=54326
(and they all use or can use fat quarters. Jaybird’s Chopsticks is great but it really needs half yards, though I guess there’d be plenty of scraps for a different quilt!)
I would love to win this because I am currently on a spending freeze.
I don’t think you could go wrong with any pattern that features these larger scale prints like a modern take on the snow ball pattern or square-in-square with a large center square.
I think the Curlicue Crush Pattern would be an excellent choice to show off this beautiful collection!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=7409681736347409&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58296&Parent_Ids=
But then of course if I used it with Every Which Way Quilt Pattern
Gigi’s Thimble, I would be able to point out my favorite print.
What a great giveaway! Thanks!
very pretty — I think a pattern like Sweet Escape would show off the big prints nicely!
I’ve yet to own a single scrap of AMH so would luv to get a whole FQ collection. These fabrics could be made into so many different amazing quilts – I’m thinking a wonky nine-patch mixed with a healthy dose of some solids…
I would frame the prints, they’re so pretty!
this is such a gorgeous line, the colours and patterns are so bold. because of the scale, i think something really simple and uses big uncut pieces of the fabric would be perfect. i wouldn’t be able to chop them into small pieces!
These fabrics are just so pretty, I am not sure I could cut them up staright away…after time to drool, touch and ponder, i would have to say probably a pattern from Jaybird quilts!
I’m fairly new at this so my choice would be Off the Rail for cute and ease of piecing! Thanks so much for the giveaway!
I think this line would look fabulous in a bunch of purse styles. And lots of pillows!
I just got the book “Living Large 2″ which has lots of patterns to really show off large scale prints. I think several of those patterns would really be great for this gorgeous fabric!
I would make Simply Sixties if I won
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=373968182853739&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=30876&Parent_Ids=
I love the colors in Sea Glass. And I think the Heaven’s Door pattern would do those big prints justice – thanks for the chance.
I”m thinking it’d look great in the Chopsticks pattern. Although I think this fabric will end up in every project I make until I use it all up!
I love AMH!! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=4833681837204833&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids=
Oh, goodness, a hundred ideas are swimming around in my head… but I think what would tempt me first is to make a Reversible Swing Bag (Amy Butler pattern) so that I could hold some of the precious fabrics near me daily!
i love her new collection.
I love both these lines. Pattern? Need to let the fabric talk to me first, but they would be beautiful on a bed quilt.
I would probably make a quilt so that all of the patterns could live happily together!
I would make Swoon!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=1479661348431479&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57040&Parent_Ids=
I’d love to try a zigzag quilt with this
I want to make pillows for my new home and the sofa/bed I’m making with pallets. AMH is my favorite and I’ll be buying the whole line I’m sure but would love the chance to win it. Thanks for the give away!
I envision a gorgeous tote bag!
String blocks or a drunkards path
Ooh! Love it. The colors are so vivid. I would probably try Rebecca’s Star Jewels pattern to bring out the patterns!
What a great giveaway! Thank you
I’d use the Chopsticks pattern found here: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=97368194539973&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids=
This fabric is perfect for Jaybird Quilts’ “Firecracker.” Here is the link from the Fat Quarter Shop http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=6948681943586948&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=54325&Parent_Ids=
I’d use the Turning Twenty pattern. It’s easy, quick, and will show all those luscious colors off to perfection!
I think this would need a pattern where you could really showcase the design on the fabric. I’m going to vote for an old favorite, The Yellow Brick Road. or Bits and Pieces.
oh beautiful-this is what i’d choose=

Yum! I would probably try an Ogee (Curlique) quilt – it’s on my list and these fabrics would look fantastic!
Beautiful! This fabric would look gorgeous made up into a Swoon quilt. Love that pattern, love this fabric! Winning combination
Any FQ set I might be lucky enough to receive would end up in more than one project, as I like to mix and match new stuff with the rest of my stash. I’m much more likely to start with one block and let the project grow intuitively from there than to pick a pattern and follow it.
I would love this fabric but I would have to hold it in my hot little hands and see all the beautiful colors before I could decide what to do with it.
I would make a fun bag, like this tote by Amy Butler.

I love this line! I think using big blocks of the large prints and accenting them with embroidery/hand quilting like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/annamariahorner/5755862542/
would make a lovely quilt. I can also see some really great whole cloth quilts from some of these prints! LOVE!
It’s hard to say what pattern would look good–I know there are some big prints in there… seems like the Jaybird Quilts Dot Party would work though!

I love the warm summer colours in the Grapefruit LouLouThi’s. What a great wall hanging these zesty colours would make.
Since this fabric makes me “swoon”, I think Swoon from Thimble Blossoms is perfect choice.
I think LouLouThi would be awesome with the Lotus Blossom Quilt from Cozy Quilt Designs.
I would make a quilt, something with big blocks to show off the prints.
Thanks for the giveaway! A beautiful quilt with the pattern Off the Rail.
I would love to see Swoon with all the vibrant beautiful colors of AMH’s fabrics… love, love, love this line! http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=623652698386236&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57040&Parent_Ids=

I thought it was relatively easy, since I am a beginner quilter, and would be fat quarter friendly! Thank you so much for the opportunity! I LOVE the FQ shop!! And Anna Marie!!!
oh, me me me! looks like such a beautiful line.
I think I would just look at the fabric for the first few weeks and drool over it’s gorgeousness…
I would pick All Washed Up Sparkling Cider or Fat Friday since I’m a beginner. My first project is a queen bedspread with batiks and I didn’t know how to sew! Thanks to tutorials I have been able to do this so I have no fear! I have fallen in love with the fat quarter bundles and charms. Thank you for the opportunity to win!! This fabric is beautiful. http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=8300682236218300&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=24396&Parent_Ids=
wow, what beautiful fabric, it would probably take me a while to decide what pattern. I would have to just look at it and caress it for a while first. Love fabric!
I’d probably make a patchwork skirt for my youngest with coordinating purse for the 7 year old and a little wallet for me.
Hmmm… hard to say which quilt pattern I’d use the grapefruit palette in. The large flower prints are just to gorgeous to cut up. I’ll probably go with this big block quilt pattern:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_Id=499&T=1&page_id=23&Item_ID=57040
or make-up my own pattern for a 50s inspired patchwork, circle skirt and aptly name it the “Picnic Skirt.”
Wow, I have been eyeing this collection! Thanks for this opportunity, what a great giveaway! I think Anna Maria’s collection would look fabulous on the Bird Sling bag fro Amy Buttler.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=596968123475969&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=21394&Parent_Ids=

Or, I might just keep all the pieces as whole as possible and sew simple squares and hand quilt around the fabric pattern.
Thanks again. xx
OMGosh, there are soooo many possibilities with these fabrics. I love, love making bags, so I can see a couple of those for sure, and maybe the pattern Swoon? Thank you for a wonderful giveaway!
This fabric is so delicious that I’d have to make a garment from it to really take in and show off its amazingness! I have a vintage tunic pattern from the 70′s. Would love to combine several fabrics within the pattern…Thanks for the chance to win!

Those are lovely patterns! I think that a picture frame quilt pattern (from Elizabeth Hartman’s book) along with either white or light neutral would be great, it would really showcase the fabric, and wouldn’t detract from those amazing patterns!
Thanks for the chance!
It’s Chopsticks for me. Thanks for the chance to win some of this wonderful fabric.
Oh, wow, these fabrics look amazing. Lately I’ve been obsessed with zig-zag and chevron quilt tops, so I’d probably do one of those two, unless the fabric told me otherwise.

Fresh Cut Quilts. It is here http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=9372520031549372&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58563&Parent_Ids=
Love this line! I think the Angel’s Staricase pattern might be intersting with this fabric line.
Thank you for the giveaway opportunity!
Mama’s Choice Quilt pattern gets my vote
I’m head over heals with the grapefruit. Just plain gorgeous!
The Curlicue Crush pattern has an AMH feel to it, but anything with large pieces. Maybe even just the FQs sewn together to a huge family beach blanket.
Curlicue Crush is here: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=396669136533966&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58296&Parent_Ids=
I’ve been dying to make the chopsticks pattern by Julie at Jaybird quilts (as soon as it come out!) and I think the large prints in Grapefruit Loulouthi would be great.
These fabrics would make some gorgeous, eyecatching totes!
Love AMH’S new fabrics & can’t wait to cut some up, then sew it back together!
This pattern by Sweet Jane would showcase the scale of the prints well. I’m also anxious to sew (Jaybird) Julie’s ‘Chopstix’ pattern;-)

Oh the fabric is dreamy! I would love to make a string quilt or large half square triangle or maybe the ps i quilt monochromatic quilt along…. oh the places I could go with this wonderful fabric. Thanks for letting me dream of possibilities……got my fingers crossed.
I would love to see this line in a modern quilt with squares
Bye
Susanne
Oh I’ve been working on a pattern that this would be perfect for! I live on Martha’s Vineyard and you can find sea glass all over the beaches here. I been working on a pattern using a reverse applique map of the Island. How perfect would sea glass be for this?!
I ordered my first batch of these (FQs) the minute I first found them stocked at Hawthorne. Been looking forward to these for such a long time now. Should arrive in the mail any day at which point I’ll stare at them, touch them, unfold, refold, un- and refold them some more. Then I’ll leave them sitting for a week or so of letting the fabrics “sink in” at which point I’ll decide on a quilt pattern. I’ll most likely create my own. Some of these prints will most definitely turn into a new Babycarrier as my little one seems to be outgrowing our old one. And I just loooooooove the process of getting to know new fabrics. Usually they’ll tell me exactly what they want to be.
I’d love to make a quilt, some bags, totes, purses, etc… from this fabulous fabric line of A.M.Horner ;o)
Oooh,it’s beautiful! I would love to use it in the Kaleidascope quilt along. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
I love those fabrics and I would like to out the chopsticks pattern with them
I think it would be great for any Jaybird Quilts patterns! Thanks for an awesome giveaway!!!!
A Drunk Love quilt would be awesome using these fabrics — how awesome! Thanks for the opporunity. I’m another that thinks the Chopsticks pattern would be fantastic, but I’m trying to have an original thought… LOL!
I’m loving what Twin Fibers is doing with these new fabrics and the Camille Roskelley Swoon pattern . . . I might just have to copy that idea.
I think it would look fabulous using the Verona Bag pattern: http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=4251517156134251&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=36000&Parent_Ids=
I just love each and every one of these fabrics. I think it would look great in the 5 & Dime quilt pattern by All Washed Up – it would give the larger scale flower print time to shine.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=2984514232592984&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=24397&Parent_Ids=
Thanks for the chance!
I think this fabric would look fabulous made into Amy Butler’s Spice Market Tote(among other things!) What a great giveaway. Thanks!
kbzelazny@gmail.com
I think a simple 12 or 15″ parchwork quilt would be pretty or do verying sizes e.hoops on the wall over a bed with them for art. Thanks for sharing
I think the Chopsticks Pattern would be really nice out of this fabric. The bigger triangles would give you a chance to really show off the fabric.
Big huge rectangles – and oh yeah i’d blog it.
I can’t decided what I would do with it! It might have to sit on my sewing machine for a few months so I could oo and ah over it!
I adore this fabric! I can never decide what my quilt will look like so I usually just cut and start so I really can’t pick a pattern…yet.
A star sampler quilt with the blocks being different sizes. Or…but wait…<>. Thanks for a wonderful opportunity to win some great fabric. I absolutely love this line. Congratulations to whomever of us wins!
I’d love to try it with Cluck Cluck Sew’s Basket Case pattern!
I’m just blown away by the loveliness of this fabric line! I think it would look great using the Happy Hour Pattern or the Farmhouse Windows pattern – but I think Happy Hour would really showcase the wonderful prints.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I would like to try it with this one:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Store_Id=499&T=1&page_id=23&Item_ID=48383
Both those colorways are gorgeous, as is the entire line.
I’m on the fence about whether I’d use Jaybird Quilts’ Chopsticks or Prairie Grass Patterns’ Russian Rubix, as both are patterns I really want to try. I think I’d ultimately have to go with Russian Rubix.
I would love to see the Grapefruit in Chopsticks so that the fabric pattern is not lost in a blend.
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=96376811889637&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids=
i would need to hold the fabric a minute, ask it a few questions. and i’m sure a bit would end up in my epic zig zag quilt…
These fabrics would look lovely in the pattern ‘Swoon’ by Thimble Blossoms :
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=94369211451943&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=58813&Parent_Ids=
with a really soft neutral for the background.
Thanks for the chance!!
I have generally been making quilts. Perhaps Ill pick up a pattern and make a nice bag. Id like to make some nice grocery bags actually. I noticed one during the recent big giveaway but I am not sure where I saw that pattern!
I’d really have to think about a pattern, perhaps easy bake with a layer cake from cluck cluck sew? I’d just want to hold it & look at it for awhile first!:)
Cute prints! I can see this in snowballs.
Lovely new fabrics!
I was checking out your FQ patterns & I think the new line of fabrics would work well with the Anka’s Treasures Sizzlin’ Sixties quilt (the one with 6-point stars and red border…maybe it’s the one that’s called O My Stars…?).
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=8777692239128777&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=30875&Parent_Ids=

eeek! This fabric line is so amazing, it will be beautiful in any application. I think a large-scale disappearing nine patch would be a great way to show off the larger prints as well as the smaller ones. So pretty!

Well, i would prefer it to make a quilt… patchwork quilt?? I just loves patchwork.. ^^
I’m thinking one of the Kaffe Fassett patterns, where the triangles seem to melt into the large scale swirly background.
Wow, lotsa responses!
Thanks for the chance to win – with these fabrics it would be hard not to make a wonderful quilt. I’m thinking big and colorful… like Stephanie from Loft Creation’s ‘Barefoot in the park’ or Sarah Fielkes ‘Raffle quilt’ . They would really showcase the bold and beautiful prints from the seagrass collection.
I would make a Liberated Wedding Ring quilt.
Love to have this fabric!!! It would look great in either Confetti or Bookworm – both in Issue 5 of Fat Quarterly.
Hi from Inger in Sweden,
I love the colors and they would be perfect with your pattern Block tangles for a fall blanket. Cross my fingers to the lucky one
Wow, those are beautiful! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I think i woul make a fairly simple quilt, to show off the fabulousness of the fabrics- maybe frame them with linen? Or they’d make the most gorgeous scrappy skirt.

Wallets is a must for them

I love this fabric, and after much searching, I too love the chopsticks pattern from Jaybird Quilts. I think this pattern would compliment the fabric beautifully…and of course what better way to show off the fabric, than having it displayed in a beautiful quilt featured in my home.
Looks like fun fabric. I’m new to this, but I’ve been thinking of trying this pattern:

I would use this to try my first hexagon quilt…
These fabrics are gorgeous! I would love to make a quilt out of them using the simple sashings and rectangles pattern the Quilt Dad made one of for his coverquilt. That pattern would really showcase these fabrics. Sometimes simple patterns are all that’s needed for beautiful fabric!
http://www.quiltdad.com/
Would LOVE to use it in this pattern:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=53806914735380&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=43897&Parent_Ids=

With the large prints you need something suitable to showcase them, I love the Chopsticks pattern. The solid triangles for the large prints and the outlined ones for the smaller prints with a Kona solid for the background.

Want to make an oversize tumbler pattern quilt. This would be perfect!
I thhink that Anna Maria’s fabric would be wonderful in a dress or skirt.
I think it would look great in Sparkling Cider by All Washed Up Quilts. It uses stars and large pieces of fabric, which I think would show off the prints really well!
i think Swoon would look terrific in this fabric. It’s available at the fatquartershop.com i’m sure ’cause i looked!!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=8053610212558053&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=52689&Parent_Ids=
I think would look really great with this fabric line. Especially with those Dresdens!
I love the disappearing nine patch or the wonky log cabin. I don’t know if those would work as well with the big prints but I’m sure I could find the perfect quilt pattern for those fat quarters.
Jaybird quilt’s Chopsticks, in the LouLouThi grapefruit line. I have wanted to try that pattern ever since I saw it, and I love Anna Marie Horner’s fabrics.
Oh gorgeous. The pattern – ladied of the lake, published in the Australian Patchwork and Quilting Mag last month Vol 20(5) would be absolutely perfect!!! Just love the Grapefruit colorway
I love the Sea Glass colorway and would love to use the fabrics in a Bento Box pattern.
I think it would be gorgeous in the Bubbles pattern–but then maybe it’s because I’m waiting for its release!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=3246611010513246&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57713&Parent_Ids=

http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=8685611637198685&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=57894&Parent_Ids=
(although some of the bag’s in ‘style stitches’ would be fantastic too…)
a dress in those lucious voiles:
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?Shopper_id=1647530157521647&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56922&Parent_Ids=

Although my typical MO is a more highly-pieced quilt, I’ve been really drawn to this quilt:
http://www.noodle-head.com/2011/06/quilt-for-me.html
It’s just beautiful and really shows off the AMH line in a great way, I think.
Pick out a pattern first? Do people really do that? ;o) I’ve been working on my AMH stash, since I didn’t have enough FQ’s to make the “tender blooms” quilt from the April/May 2011 issue of Quilter’s Home. I think LouLouthi would play really nice with the other pieces I’ve collected.
I think I would have to just do some improv blocks for a wonderful new table runner to bring the beautiful flowers indoors
I love this line. I think I want to make Rectangle Reverie by The Happy Zombie. It showcases large-scale fabrics beautifully, and I am sort of addicted to that pattern right now.
I think those fabrics would look awesome in Jaybird’s Firecracker pattern. Wowzers!
http://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=164961194831649&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=54325&Parent_Ids=

What can’t you do with Anna Maria. I always have difficulty cutting into the beauty to make something beautiful. if i had to choose it would be one of Julie’s from Jaybird like Chopstickshttp://www.fatquartershop.com/store/stores_app/Browse_Item_Details.asp?sid=31816111617253181&Store_id=499&page_id=23&Item_ID=56244&Parent_Ids= or one of Anna Maria’s downloads or books. congrats to whoever wins this. what a great giveaway!
I have been wanting to do Camille’s Swoon pattern and this just might be the extra glitz to do it for me.
I love all of Anna Maria’s fabric – I would have great fun deciding what to make with these fabrics. I just wish I coudl get them in Northern Ireland.
I think I would make

Thanks,
Phyllis
i already made a AMH innocent crush quilt, so i’d want to use Loulouthi to make an Oliver + S Icecream Dress. But if only i could do that with FQs…..

I think I’d make a quilt with large squares of the fabric to show off the beautiful design. I’d make the grapefruit LouLouThi with pale lilac sashing and the sea glass with a pale blue/grey sashing. Maybe even something similar to the Russian Rubix quilt pattern.

I’d make Rebecca Johnson’s curclicue pattern, in the sea glass colourway – that’s the theory – I always find it difficult to cut into Anna Maria Horner’s gorgeous fabrics.
I will make a Kaleidoscope Quilt with this lovely fabric!
I think the line would look amazing with this Lazy Girl pattern:
