Wow, that IS an awesome prize! I'd love to make the Bedtime Story quilt from FQ Issue one with the Hoot fabric; but wow, trying to decide what to do with all those fabrics would be a challenging, but delightful, task! I'd make a disappearing nine patch quilt first (love that), then a coin quilt (with lots and lots of color). I'd make a lap quilt for the raffle at a nursing home in MD that took care of my Dad when he had vascular dementia (which is much like Alzheimers and is devastating). I'd donate some of the fabrics to my quilt guild which makes comfort quilts for shelters, nursing homes, etc. And I'd share with some of my quilting buddies. What a fantastic giveaway! Oooh I've been patiently waiting for Punctuation to hit the stores and would love to win a FQ pack of that but I'm not sure which project to go for. I love the hex pillow form issue one but you wouldn't use much of a FQ bundle on a hex pillow. I also love the new quilt that was hung over the Buddhist tempe gates which might have been called something like Elephants Marching but, until I opened up the FQ pack and saw what was in there, I'm not sure what it would look best in.

Wow what a give away what would i do? well I make small quilts for the Birthing Unit of the hospital where I work, some of the larger ones are used in the premmie nursery & babies that dont go home with the birth parents for various reasons ,drugs ,violence etc are given a quilt to take when they are fostered out The smaller ones are used to wrap stillborns when they are taken to the parents then they have the choice of keeping the quilt as a momento or burying the babes with them…so really any of the prizes would be fantastic but especilly the Jelly Roll solids with the Honey Bun roll I could do heaps with them…

I would use the fabric to make something inspired by the City quilts you posted not too long ago. I love their bold simplicity. I'd also use the mega stash to play around with my brand new embroidery/ quilting machine

Wow…what a giveaway! Does The Sanctuary Quilt count as a FQ quilt? I know you can use them or not, and I don't know if that's what I'd use for my first version. I'd use some large scale prints that I have because I'm always looking for patterns for those. I'm thinking Gypsy from Felicity Miller.

By the way–I got the 2nd issue, and it's great! I don't have a ton of scraps, but there are still so many ideas. Loved the article about quilt market!

What a great giveaway. There are so many fabrics. Too many for just one quilt. If I was the lucky winner I would make the Bedtime Story Quilt out of City Weekend and Bella solids, the Jewel Box quilt out of Punctuation, Fat Geese out of Bliss or Hoot, and Windows and Frames out of Pure. The rest would go into my stash for future projects.

I'm jumping back into triangles, so Flying Geese would be fun to do with any of these fabrics. Count me in!

Oh my goodness…so many projects you could make with all of that! First would be the Diasy Chain quilt…then the Poodle Quilt…and the Pinwheel Playmat. Pretty much every pattern you have is on my list to make!

It's a tough decision what I'd make. I think I'd make the circular logic pillow or the selvage placemats. I've always wanted to play with selvages but haven't gotten up to it yet.

What a generous giveaway! What I'd do is keep the fat quarters and perhaps tackle the Daisy Chain quilt in issue 2, and I'd give my girlfriend the rest of the fabric. I prewash and she doesn't; can you imagine what a tangled mess all those strips would make?!

OMG is right! I am downloading Issue #2 as I write this. I really did LOVE Issue #1 and can't wait to open up my new Issue #2. I just love that I can keep these on my computer and read them as I wish – y'all have come up with a fantastic idea. Congratulations on the success and I hope it just gets better and better for you. I was actually still awake in the wee hours of the morning when I got my e-mail about the new issue! I had to stay up a little longer and read it

I do have an idea for you guys, though… It would be great if there were Adobe bookmarks so instead of a list of page numbers in the sidebar you could easily click to a tutorial or article.

Ok I've just purchased my copy of Fat Quarterly Issue 2 (which is just awesome) and I'm hereby entering my second entry for the giant stash o goodness!
