I know, I know the sun has only just started to show itself to those of us in Europe and that it has even been hotter in Australia in winter than here over the last month or so. But it is time to slowly start thinking about Christmas sewing. Or at least in making a list of projects you want to attempt to make in time for the festive season!
Sew Merry and Bright: 20 Easy, Fun, and Festive Patterns is the latest book by Linda Lum DeBono for That Patchwork Place and is packed with projects that you are definitely going to want to add to your to do list.
There are quilts, stockings, an advent calendar, ornaments, placemats, table runner, tree skirt… Simply put pretty much everything you can think of that you might want to make jolly up your home for Christmas.
I just love how bright these projects are and that there are a lot of projects here that are simple enough for me to want to tackle with my young girls. I can definitely see my two wanting to make the felt tree decorations.
We have the e-book version of the book to giveaway! Just leave a comment below to be entered into the draw. The winner will be announced on Monday 30 July.
